- Member of the Kongo School of Noh Shite Actors. At the same time a popluar actor and Noh mask carver, (an otherwise unheard of combination). Teaches Noh performance and mask masking throughout Japan and internationally in the International Noh Institute (INI). Author of original Noh plays. Holds the title of Special Intangible Asset from Japan Agency of Cultural Affaires. In 2007, led performances in Europe (Paris House of Japanese Culture, Dresden National Theater, and Berlin RBB Hall) with support from the Japan Agency of Cultural Affaires and the Japan Foundation.
